1 large head of napa (Chinese Cabbage)
4-6 scallions, some green included
1/4 C. melted butter
1 C. slivered almonds
1/3 C. sesame seed
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles (pasta only!)
1/3 C. white vinegar
1/3 C. oil
2/3 C. sugar
3 tblsp. soy sauce
Combine almonds with butter, add broken noodles and sesame seeds.
Bake on a baking sheet at 350º until light brown, about 10
minutes, stirring occasionally.
Heat vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce until the vinegar is dissolved.
Cool.
Thinly slice the napa and scallions. Toss all the ingredients (add
the oil) and serve immediately.
