1 salad bowl full of romaine lettuce
3 strips of bacon (optional for vegetarians!)
18 mushrooms (approximately)
1 avocado
20 cherry or grape tomatoes
Cut the bacon strips into small bits, throw them into a large pan,
and cook them until almost done.
Clean the mushrooms and cut them in slices. Toss them in with the
bacon bits and cook until the bacon is fully browned (or until it
tastes good to you).
Wash the lettuce and break it into small pieces. Cut the avocado
into squares, and slice the little tomatoes in half.
Toss the salad with all the ingredients. The warm bacon and
mushroom mixture serves as the dressing. Any more dressing is
gratuitous.
