Step 1
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. hot pepper flakes
1 tblsp. sugar
Mix together the seasonings...and set them aside.
Step 2
1-2 tblsp. peanut oil
2 cups almonds
1/2 cup sugar
In a large pan, sauté the almonds and sugar in the oil until brown
and the sugar is caramelized
Step 3
Remove the nuts to a large bowl. Stir in the spice mix and spread
quickly on a baking tin, breaking up bunches of nuts to separate.
Store in the fridge, but served at room temperature.
