For 2008's annual "mini Shmitzu" gathering in Maine, Jenny Pigg
slyly proposed a contest to develop The Shmitzu Cocktail.
Each entry had to include not just a drink, but a descriptive "tag
line."
Brundage and I took the bait. Or the olive. Or whatever one takes
for a cocktail contest. The three of us channeled the Iron Chef
and mixed our candidate concoctions. (We did not set them
to simmer and take off the scum....)
The judges declared a three-way tie. So, try 'em all and chose for
yourself.
