1 1/2 sticks butter (3/4 cup)
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. molasses
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. Flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
dash cloves & nutmeg


Heat the oven to 350º.

Cream the first 4 ingredients in a large bowl. Mix all the rest (the dry ingredients) in a small bowl. Then add dry mixture to wet.

Form the dough into balls and roll in sugar.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Yum
